Description

"Hopes and Dreams," with its rich pallet of color and landscape feel will  brighten any space. To create the image I first grew phenylethylamine crystals, a substance found in chocolate,  on a glass microscope slide by evaporation, then photographed it through a microscope. The crystals create the colors by the refraction of light passing through the prism-like crystalline array.
