Description

"Delicate Balance" has the softness of line and form of a watercolor painting and is a photograph of resveratrol crystals. Resveratrol is found naturally in wine and is thought to have considerable health benefits. These crystals were grown by evaporation in the presence of Chimney Rock(CA) Winery’s Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 on a glass microscope slide and photographed through the microscope. The crystal facets create the colors naturally by the refraction of transmitted white light.
