Interior Designer & Architect Trade Program

Unique Art for Contemporary Interiors

Suitable for residential, hospitality, healthcare, workplace, and specialty environments including wine cellars.

This trade program is designed for interior designers and architects sourcing original artwork with a compelling backstory, museum-quality production, and reliable project support.

The work is created by growing crystals from materials such as wine, chocolate, caffeine, and pharmaceuticals, then photographing them through a microscope using polarized light. The resulting images reveal naturally occurring structural color—organic, luminous, and impossible to replicate.

Why Designers Choose This Work

  • Original, Non-Generated Art

Photographed from real crystalline structures—not illustrated or AI-generated.

  • Biophilic Without Being Literal

Organic forms that reference nature without becoming decorative or thematic.

  • Contemporary & Timeless

Highly compatible with modern, organic, minimalist, and hospitality interiors.

  • Scales Across Project Types

Effective in residential spaces as well as large-scale hospitality installations.

  • A Story Clients Remember

A clear, engaging origin story designers can confidently share.

The Backstory

Each artwork begins on a microscope slide, where crystals are grown from materials such as wine, chocolate, caffeine, and pharmaceuticals through controlled evaporation and temperature.

When viewed under polarized light, the crystalline structure bends white light to produce vivid structural color—without dyes or pigments. The resulting forms are organic, abstract, and entirely real.

Professional Background & Experience

I am a fine art photographer, educator, and former scientist with a background in biomedical photography and scientific research. For over two decades, I have worked at the intersection of art and science, developing proprietary methods for growing and photographing crystals under the microscope.

My artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally and specified in a broad range of professional and residential environments.
