A Look Inside

The Story Behind the Book
For more than twenty years, I have grown crystals and photographed them through a microscope, bringing a research scientist’s curiosity and an artist’s eye to worlds normally hidden from view. Each formation assembles naturally and cannot be reproduced. Each image documents an encounter with something I will never see again.
I created Crystallizations to share both the images and the ideas that have kept me searching: why certain patterns feel familiar, the connection between art and science, and how curiosity and creativity shape the process of discovery. This book brings those explorations together, inviting you to discover the crystals’ hidden beauty and consider how we see the world around us.
